This non-profit group was formed in 1995 with the intent of giving single men and women from all all walks of life the opportunity to meet and enjoy each others company in a friendly and secure environment. Over time, we have developed a very active schedule, which currently includes weekly Cards Nights, Cycling, Dancing Spots, Golfing, Hiking, Movie Nights, our very popular Pot Luck Dinners, and just about anything else that the group is willing to support. In the winter season there is also Bowling, Cross-Country Skiing and Curling. We organize two or three singles dances during the year as well. Most of these activities are locally based, but there are also some regular out of town trips organized. Our emphasis is always on getting together as a group and having fun while sharing common interests, rather than dating. Just the same, numerous couples have formed and a number of marriages taken place over the last nine years. New singles are welcome to come out to a few events before deciding whether they wish to become a member. Membership is $12 annually to cover expenses.
